Changing TouchPad Sensitivity

hello,
i recently upgraded to the new 2.6.11.10 kernel. Is there a way to change the mouse sensitivity, I looked at my dmesg and saw this:
Code:
Synpatics Touchpad, model: 1
 Firmware: 4.1
 180 degree mounted touchpad
  Sensor: 8
So it seems to know its a touchpad, now my question. is there a way to change the Sensitivity of my touchpad so it isn't so sensitive?

thanks,

djgerbavor3

It seems there's a known problem in knew kernels.

First I would suggest you to try this touchpad drivers which are very complete: http://web.telia.com/~u89404340/touc....html#Download
Using this drivers you can choose the sensitivity to use in X.

Here there seems to be a temporary fix for the high sensitivity in new kernels: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla...?id=153201#c12
