Cannot install glchess

Hi.

I downloaded Glchess, and when i opened install file, it says that i need just to put this command in the console:

To run excute the following in this directory:
$ PYTHONPATH=lib/ ./glchess

I tried it more than 100 times, but i only get this error:

-bash: ./glchess: /usr/bin/python2.4: bad interpreter: No such file or directory

Can you help me ?

Thanks

It looks like glchess is looking for python2.4 and you probably have python 2.5

Edit the ./glchess file and change to top line which should be something like

Code:
#!/usr/bin/python2.4
to this:

Code:
#!/usr/bin/python
and try again. If you're not sure how to do this try typing mc from the console and follow the on screen menus to select the glchess file, edit it and save your changes.
