Can't successfully install a bittorrent client in 12.2.

Hi folks,
I have been using ubuntu,Mandriva and fedora randomly for about 1 year. But I learned no Linux. I wanted to know Linux more and I shifted to Slackware with a decision that I wont ask in the forum every simple things and will try to fix everything by myself.

Now I can't install a bittorrent client.(Vuze is working,but I dont like it.
I tried Deluge. It had some python pkg_resources problem and I fixed it. But its not all fixed.A window opens up with nothing in it.
I installed .tgz of bittorrent and it said it have no libtorrent.rasterbar.1.so. I installed it. No change.
PHP Code:
ktorrent
ktorrent
error while loading shared librarieslibsolid.so.4cannot open shared object fileNo such file or directory
when i tried to compile q bittorrent from source, even after installing boost-1.38.0-i686-1as.tgz, it kept saying I have no libboost.

What to do?

I'm running a full install of Slackware 12.2. I installed ktorrent from CD #4 in /extra. It works fine for me.

ktorrent looking for libsolid sounds like the KDE 4 version of ktorrent...
Anyway, libtorrent and rtorrent are available on slackbuilds.org and work fine.

In /extra of the Slackware-12.2 dvd you can find bittorrent. It is console version only, but works flawlessly and I am happy with it.

You're welcome.

Edit: Added later. The contents of the /extra directory are not part of a full installation, they can be added later.

qbittorrent and deluge both depend on libtorrent-rasterbar, so you need to install that.

There is also the totally excellent and very light on resources Transmission, which you can get from slackbuilds.org:
http://slackbuilds.org/repository/12.../transmission/
Transmission is especially useful if you use XFCE desktop instead of KDE.

The trouble I mentioned is after installation of this and all the dependencies(+boost).
