Caja will respawn again after itīs been closed

Hello,

I have downloaded and installed the MATE Slackware packages for testing.

Now something very strange happens, when i close Caja it will immediately respawn again, even if i open a terminal an enter kill -s 9 PID (of Caja) it will respawn. When i log out and in again Caja will immediately start.

Switching to a different Desktop (KDE or XFCE) has the same effect that Caja will start right away.

Anyone observed this behavior too, or any ideas.

BTW Caja is not in the list of automatically started programms.

Thanks,
Tz

Can you post a screenshot?

Thanks, but problem solved.
For some reason Caja did not delete a temp file created in ~/.local/share/ when closing the Programm.

Log-Off and Log-in on the console (tty1) then delete the file manually did the job, now caja doesnīt respawn.
Strange enough it will create that tempfile again but now when i close caja the file is vanished automatically, i have no idea why it didnīt before.
