Remote Control and XMMS

Hi,
I have an Audigy 2 ZS sound card.
I got my RC RM-1500 working. I installed lirc, then xmms-lirc. The remote control is working but I want to control XMMS with it.
I just cant get a working lircrc file. This is the file where I have to put commands to control XMMS corresponding to the RC buttons. I dont know what the XMMS command are.
For example, I would like to associate the command to increase the volume with the "vol+" button on my RC.
Does anyone have an idea what the XMMS commands are?

The .lircrc entries look like this:

begin
prog = irexec
button = the_one_you_want_on_your_remote
config = XMMS_command
end

very sorry for taking so long to get back to you, I've had a hectic week. right, with xine in ~/.xine there is a file called keymap which contains all of the functions by name eg EventSelect is the 'ok' or 'enter' button for choosing dvd menu items. This file is used to assign keyboard keys to each function but the function names are the same in lirc. therefore just to show you the .lircrc entries are like this
Code:
begin
prog = xine
button = ok
repeat = 3
config = EventSelect
end
and the corresponding lircd.conf entry for this remote is
Code:
begin remote

  name  creative
  bits           32
  flags SPACE_ENC|CONST_LENGTH
  eps            30
  aeps          100

  header       9053  4684
  one           610  1655
  zero          610   549
  ptrail        606
  repeat       9045  2243
  gap          106821
  toggle_bit      0

      begin codes
          power                    0x619E
          1                        0x8B74
          2                        0x8F70
          3                        0x906F

          pause                    0x857A
          rew                      0x7F80
          ff                       0x7A85
          skip+                    0x7E81

          ch-                      0x718E
      end codes
