Anyone w/ slack9 and 2.5.65 have gnome freak out over your sound?

So i was feeling adventurous and decided to break my shiny new install of Slackware 9 by installing and compiling in a 2.5.65 kernel. Well, after some fiddling(i'm an idiot and didn't read the diff between uhci and ohci close enough :/ ) everything seems to work and be detected and happy. So running gnome, and i go to play a sound to test the soundcard, and bam i get a seg fault. I assume this is my own dumb fault But has anyone else run into this?

Cool

Did you compile oss or alsa sound driver? I did try 2.5.65 with alsa and it worked... 2.5.65 was btw really unstable. I did got kernel panic at least twice every day. 2.5.66 is much better and has not yet crashed on my computer.

2.5.66

I have now been using 2.5.66 for couple of days and it seems to be almost as unstable as 2.5.65... While 2.5.65 did crash at least twice a day, 2.5.66 do crash aprox once a day on my computer.
