alsaconf

alsaconf provides a very convenient way for configuring ALSA. I was wondering whether alsaconf is a slackware specific thing, or it included in the standard ALSA package? If so, can i use alsaconf on, say, debian?

from Slack10 :
-----------
root@slack21:/home/egag# grep alsaconf /var/log/packages/*
/var/log/packages/alsa-utils-1.0.5-i486-1:usr/man/man8/alsaconf.8.gz
/var/log/packages/alsa-utils-1.0.5-i486-1:usr/sbin/alsaconf
-----------

so it comes with the alsa-utils
