Steam is working for me. Need to open it more often, a boat load of updates.
OK...did you only update the multilib stuff that was updated yesterday, or have your own repository? Because I and the other guy in that thread are having issues with any OpenGL program that's 32 bit. (glxgears, glxinfo, Steam) I reinstalled the nvidia drivers this morning (with patch), and that didn't fix it. I converted mesa 24, and that also didn't fix it. The person on this thread said the only way he could get Steam to run was with strace. https://www.linuxquestions.org/quest...3/#post6481214
ETA: I've also reinstalled the nvidia drivers. Used the same patch you did, too. Also converted SDL, which was the only other multilib package upgraded recently. Same thing, glxgears segfaults unless run with strace.
Distribution: Slackware64-current with "True Multilib" and KDE4Town.
