Alien Bob GCC 3.4 Package

I notice two broken sym links after installing the GCC 3.4 package:

i486-slackware-linux-c++34 -> g++-gcc34
i486-slackware-linux-g++34 -> g++-gcc34

1. To where should these links point?
2. Are the links in the package incorrect or did I unknowingly break something?

Thanks.

I'm not sure if Eric's still up right now, but I pinged him about this.

Here's what I see:

Code:
# cd /usr/gcc34/bin/
# ls -l
total 440K
-rwxr-xr-x 2 root root 80K 2007-03-26 08:46 c++34*
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root   5 2008-02-25 18:11 cc34 -> gcc34*
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 80K 2007-03-26 08:46 cpp34*
-rwxr-xr-x 2 root root 80K 2007-03-26 08:46 g++34*
-rwxr-xr-x 2 root root 80K 2007-03-26 08:46 gcc34*
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 16K 2007-03-26 08:45 gccbug34*
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 21K 2007-03-26 08:46 gcov34*
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root   9 2008-02-25 18:12 i486-slackware-linux-c++34 -> g++-gcc34
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root   9 2008-02-25 18:12 i486-slackware-linux-g++34 -> g++-gcc34
-rwxr-xr-x 2 root root 80K 2007-03-26 08:46 i486-slackware-linux-gcc-3.4.6*
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root   5 2008-02-25 18:11 i486-slackware-linux-gcc34 -> gcc34*
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root   5 2008-02-25 18:11 i486-slackware-linux-gcc34-3.4.6 -> gcc34*
Then, here's what I think is the fix:
Code:
# cd /usr/gcc34/bin
# ln -sf c++34 i486-slackware-linux-c++34
# ln -sf g++34 i486-slackware-linux-g++34
And now the (I think) correct output:
Code:
# ls -l
total 440K
-rwxr-xr-x 2 root root 80K 2007-03-26 08:46 c++34*
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root   5 2008-02-25 18:11 cc34 -> gcc34*
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 80K 2007-03-26 08:46 cpp34*
-rwxr-xr-x 2 root root 80K 2007-03-26 08:46 g++34*
-rwxr-xr-x 2 root root 80K 2007-03-26 08:46 gcc34*
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 16K 2007-03-26 08:45 gccbug34*
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 21K 2007-03-26 08:46 gcov34*
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root   5 2008-02-25 18:18 i486-slackware-linux-c++34 -> c++34*
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root   5 2008-02-25 18:18 i486-slackware-linux-g++34 -> g++34*
-rwxr-xr-x 2 root root 80K 2007-03-26 08:46 i486-slackware-linux-gcc-3.4.6*
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root   5 2008-02-25 18:11 i486-slackware-linux-gcc34 -> gcc34*
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root   5 2008-02-25 18:11 i486-slackware-linux-gcc34-3.4.6 -> gcc34*
