Adding Open Office to Fluxbox

Run Slackware 9.1 w/Fluxbox as WM.

Added Open Office the other day and tried to add it to my Fluxbox menu so I don't have to type ./soffice.

This is what I've added...

Code:
[exec] (Open Office) {home/cmmiller/OO/./soffice}
Needless to say, it doesn't work and I'm not sure why? I've added other things to start from the Fluxbox menu so I'm not sure what I've done wrong.

thanks

I guess the problem is the missing slash (/) in front of home.

Try this:

[exec] (Open Office) {/home/cmmiller/OO/soffice}

You only need the ./ when you are in the same directory as the executable. Giving the full path in the menu file means that you don'e need ./

How coincidental! I tried adding OO to run under FB just this morning, however, I am having a different problem. When I start an OO app I get all sorts of errors referencing KDE. Could this be because I installed OO when running KDE? What can I do to fix this?

Maybe you installed the special QT version of OO. Did you?

I fixed it. I had installed it in /usr/local/ so I uninstalled it and reinstalled it to my home directory.
