15.0 slackbuild icecat script "error while loading shared libraries: libgmp.so.10..."

Trying to run slackbuild script to compile icecat for Slackware 15.0 installation, getting an infinite loop error message,

"expr: error while loading shared libraries: libgmp.so.10: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory.

Trying to get clue what can be wrong. All I am smart enough to know is that mentioned .so file is in /usr/lib64.

I just did a network pkgtool upgrade from 14.2 to 15.0 just days after doing a Slackware 14.2 installation on a former Windows box.

I don't have to necessarily install icecat, I just want a browser that works. I was using icecat on 14.2, and it would not function on most websites. I was getting by, but hoped with the newer version of icecat, on 15.0, functionality would improve. But I'll try any browser that works.

However, I would kind of like to learn something from this current glitch rather than just give up. Plus, I kinda liked icecat - I used iceweasel years ago.

All the software I had installed on 14.2 still works, was not touched. So I am typing this into the icecat browser from the 14.2 installation. linuxquestions.org is one site that works with this old thing.

I just tried the 64 bit slackbuild script from

http://slackbuilds.org/repository/15.0/network/icecat/

and it runs on a Slackware 15.0 64bit fresh installation but I'm getting some font foolishness (e.g. on this forum, thread titles not displayed but tooltips still working). No error messages about missing libraries or anything. I have a small number of slackbuilds on this laptop so it isn't 'clean'.

The SlackBuild is repackaging a binary not compiling from source. I made sure to download the icecat-60.7.0.en-US.gnulinux-x86_64.tar.bz2 binary.

The library you mention is as you say in lib64...

Code:
bash-5.1$ locate libgmp.so
/usr/lib64/libgmp.so
/usr/lib64/libgmp.so.10
/usr/lib64/libgmp.so.10.4.1
As Icecat 60.7 is basically Firefox 60.7 with some proprietary stuff taken out, yes many sites won't work well with it. I personally use Seamonkey and occasionally fall back to firefox 91 as supplied with the 15.0 install.

Thanks, I'll try seamonkey. Meanwhile, I started over, re-partitioned and formatted, and did a clean install of 15.0, now for the first time in my life, everything works, Firefox works, everything works on Firefox, without any upgrade or doing anything, and the build script for icecat runs just fine.
