I guess you need to ask the official [zerotier] support about how should it be installed.
Would be nice to know the answer to post #4, and also how did you configure your software manager to find this package.

This can be seen by downloading at looking at the installation script. Eg
Code:
curl -s https://install.zerotier.com > zerotier-installer.sh
less zerotier-installer.sh
This is how I knew that there should be a package called "zerotier-one" on OPs system. I guess I could download the package myself, extract it and inspect it, but I feel like OP should be doing that leg work.

Cheers,
Evo2.
Yes, it looks like it produces an /etc/apt/sources.list.d/zerotier.list file, reconfigures apt and installs the package. But an incompatible one.

Yeah. It seems that package does not list the libssl1.0 dependency. The question is now whether Mint 20.3 provides libssl1.0. I suspect it doesn't and has libssl1.1 instead.
So zerotier should fix their package to specify the libssl1 dependency and also fix it to link against libssl1.1 instead of libssl1.0.
To Evo2 & pan64, I had a travel situation come up, and I am away from the machine that I was using for the installation. I will try your suggestions in a few day (probably about 5) and get back to you with the results. I really do appreciate the help, & sorry for the delay. About contacting zerotier directly, I did, and while their response was polite, it did not seem to be moving me any closer to a solution. That is when I posted my question on this forum. Thanks, and I will get back.
