3rd part software for Linux 8

Hi,

We are porting our Network Management application from RH Linux 7.3 to RH Linux 8.

The application uses many 3rd party software like Jakarta tomcat, sybase 8, Jakarta oro, ftp, sftp, TelnetWrapper.

Can the same 3rd party software running on RH Linux 7.3 be
used for RH Linux 8 as well ?

Would appreciate any help on this .

Thanks in Advance,
Sarika

AFAIK yes it can. Some may need newer packages or dependencies if they are lacked by default. Best thing to do is check out the third party software packages and documentation for accuracy.
