Packages of RedHat 5 Desktop


Hi,

Does anyone know which packages are included in RedHat 5 Desktop? I want to compare RH5 with other distros

Do you mean Fedora 5? Or maybe RedHat enterprise (RHEL5)...

Distrowatch has all of this data--and more.

I mean RHEL5. DistroWatch shows not all packages. For example they don't mention which kind of ftp server is installed.

For personal use, paying for RHEL makes no sense (to me.. ). If you really like RHEL, then maybe try CentOS (free, legal, clone) or Fedora.

Also, you can install the ftp server of your choice on any distro......

Acid Core Solder

Pixellany - I raise my hand for all of the above, but the only time you use acid core to build a radio is to fabricate the chassis. Been there, done that, but use rosin core to wire it.

But I do like your signature...
