redhat-config-packages error (thinks it is redhat and not fedora)

the program redhat-config-network provided by fedora core 1
always fails when i attempt to use it to add or remove programs.

the error message from the comand line says
/mnt/cdrom/Redhat/RPM/package-X.rpm cannot be opened / doesnt exist..

this is because in fedora, the rpm's are in
/mnt/cdrom/Fedora/RPM/

how do i configure this program to look in the correct locations ???

this is a fresh fedora install.
should i supbmit a bug report or is this a known issue ???

The issue may be known and it's solution may be pointed to in the guide at the top of the forum, but as a new user of fedora, the rpm package by j. katz doesn't seem to solve any problems for me.

I can't seem to install the package because the rpm program wants to find things in a RedHat subdirectory. It ain't there.

qwijibow, can you point out how you used the j. katz files to solve the fedora update problem? I would appreciate it.
