Post Procedure to install Ubuntu latest version


Hi,
can any one explain me in detail step by step procedure to install ubuntu latest version in laptop.

Hello,

If this is a new installation, just boot from the DVD and follow the steps. The Ubuntu installer is pretty straightforward and simple. If you want to read an installation guide, have a look at the Ubuntu site here. That's an installation guide for the latest Ubuntu (10.10).

hi
its relly easy
put your cd in cdrom
boot from cd
and its as easy as a b c

Step 1: Download and burn to cd the latest version.
Step 2: Install.

Please though - before you burn whatever medium you are installing with either cd or usb - check that the iso you downloaded is good.

Though if you download using a torrent it should be fine
