Need a wireless NIC card for UBUNTU (latest version)

I have just downloaded the CD to install the latest version of UBUNTU on a Dell Domension 2350 (Pentium 4) and I need to get a wireless network card for it that will work with Ubuntu. Can someone suggest a wireless NIC that I will be able to get at BestBuy or Computer City that will work? I think they mostly carry LinkSys. I looked at the HCL but most of the cards I saw there are going to be difficult for me to get retail. Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

Pay close attention to the VERSION NUMBERS of the cards.. manufacturers just LOVE to switch the chip on the card while leaving the model number the same and just changing the version number.

I prefer the cards with the ralink chipset that don't require any firmware.. so nice to install it and just have it work with 100% free drivers. no firmware to mess with, no screwing around with ndiswrapper..
