Latest Version of Blender 3d for Ubuntu

Where can I get the latest version of Blender 3d (2.41) for Ubuntu?
I installed it via Synaptic, and it gave me version 2.37a. I really want to work with the fluid simulation added in 2.41.

The latest version of blender for Dapper is 2.41, while 2.37a is the best you can do if you have Breezy. I have tried compiling 2.41 from source on Breezy and it failed as well, something about very outdated libraries used in Breezy.
