My num lock key LED lights up & stays lit when i log in to any nonroot account


Why and how do i stop it.

Logging in where -- graphical login or terminal login? If graphical which desktop are you running?

That's good Can you post how it was fixed for the benefit of anyone with the same problem finding this thread?

LOL i was hoping to avoid that.... Key combo, Fn + num lock. I forgot to press Fn on a laptop. Not sure how it activated in the first place, but maybe i hit the key combo some how. Xorg will blacklist that key combo forever if they hear about this so lets try and keep it a secret.
