postfix questions

I have two servers behind a firewall. I need to be able to send mail from both machines to another server beyond the firewall. The server beyond the firewall will only accept mail from one of my IP address's.
The solution to this is to have that machine run postfix as a mail server. Both machines would then send mail to the mail server with the allowable IP. My question is, how do I relay messages from the postfix mail server to the server beyond my firewall? Just add the IP of the server beyond the firewall to the following parameter?

relayhost = xx.x.x.x

thanks any help is appreciated, Im new to linux and postfix, so go easy on me if my questions seem wrong.

well first thing i tried was to send email from one node to the other. The box with postfix installed lets call "03" and the other node lets call "04". I tried to send an email from 03 to 04 and i did not receive the email on 04. I got the following message in /va/log/maillog
