That's funny, I did just that and Google knows no such thing. I just get pages like this one. People should actually check what search engines return before suggesting them as though they're talking to a child.
As usual, most of the hits from Google are people *asking* questions, not *answering* them.

Your response is nearly one year late. Now what's funny is last time you posted on LQ was in '06 only to surface in '09 to necropost your rant in a vintage '08 thread and leaving without providing future readers with any clue. To me that means you're not part of the solution.

Xorg comes with Intel's xf86-video-intel driver (man 4 intel), supporting the X3100 (a neutered GMA X3000 used in the GM965 Northbridge) since 2007, and Linux supports the Graphics Execution Manager since 2.6.28 (2008) offering a speed increase of fifty percent so one usually doesn't need the Intel HOWTO or search LQ anymore.
