installing fedora without cd


Well here's my question..
I want to upgrade to Fedora from rh9 is there any other method of installing fedora apart from bootable CD,like floopy .Can i install it from rh9 cd..

I have read that it is possible to mount the iso's and install from HDD. You will most likely need a boot floppy that willl allow you to mount the iso's and boot from them. bootdisk.com might have one, bart's way might work. basically, you just need a floppy that will "trick" the computer into thinking that it is booting from a CD. also, search www.google.com/linux for "boot floppy" "instal from HDD" fedora. or variations of this. You might be able to do a net install also, search for that at google also.

I only know how to do it under root

there is a response in this forum to my question that explains how to install

Firefox with yum .

He advised using rpm
