How to boot Rh9


Hello ,
Well how can i get my Linux Boot Loader Back ..... ?

I have 4 partitions of my HD ( c,d,e,f) ....

C had Windows 98 & In D , i installed RH9 ....I usually got the linux boot loader at start f my PC to decide which OS to boot . Yesterday My windows got corrupted , so i reinstalled it ...But now Linux Boot Loader is gone .

How should i access Linux . I had made a Boot Floppy Drive when i installed Rh9 ...it said u can access it by Floppy , Can anytell how i can do this .

just boot the floppy then install grub again

grub-install /dev/hda

U have written
grub-install /dev/hda .....

now which /dev/hda it should be

My windows directory address ( which is in C ) ...../dev/hda3

It should be /dev/hda

not hda?


You want to install to the Master Boot Record and not the partition.
