Question how to avoid dependencies conflict to install python-imaging-1.1.6-1.rha

hello!! evreyone

I am trying to install python imaging library by using -- python-imaging-1.1.6-1.rha.rf.i386.rpm

while installation, a message gets displayed -- "libctl8.3.so is needed"

When i am installing package tcl-8.4.7-2 I got a message.
Package tcl-8.4.7-2 (which is a newer than tcl-8.3.5-88) is already installed.

Please guide me, is there Python-packaging rpm available with the tcl-8.4 or not.

how can i check the other packages that depends upon these packages?

Regards,

Shiv

The dependency errors come from the fact that the python-imaging RPM you have found is not made for the version of OS you're using. Tell us

1) Where you found this "python-imaging-1.1.6-1.rha.rf.i386.rpm" file.
2) What OS you're trying to install it on. (For example: "RHEL X.Y" or "CentOS A.B")
