Question Download Red Hat distribution for kernel 2.4.26

Please suggest the procedure for following:
(1) To download the appropriate Red Hat distribution
(2) To install this downloaded distribution on the desktop PC.
Using this I need to compile a "C code" targeted to kernel 2.4.26.

Regards
avavga

The last RedHat/Fedora with 2.4 kernel was version 3.

RedHat Enterprise Level (RHEL) is the commercially supported version.
Fedora Core (FC) is the non-commercial version.

Assuming you're not buying it for commercial support you should download FC3. Not sure which update has the exact kernel level you specified. (e.g. Update 2 had 2.4.21-15 so it is likely a later update). Going to the Fedora site would likely answer that for you.

Visit either http://www.centos.org/ or https://www.scientificlinux.org/ and download the latest 3 version iso images. Both CentOS and SL are freely available 100% binary compatible clones of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3 and are based in the 2.4 kernel series. You will have to build your own 2.4.26 kernel and binary rpm for later installation.
