Daylight savings time

My state decided to follow daylight savings time this year. During the install I saw the check box for daylight savings time. Of course I did not check it. Now that we are changing, I need to make my systems aware. Where can I change this?

Thanks,

your system will follow the internal "BIOS" clock........you should re-set it first!.....

I just found another solution: tzdata2006b.tar.gz has a new northamerica definition file. zic northamerica has fixed the dst change without a reboot. I tested by taking a test machine and changing the date to April 2, 2006 at 1:57 am and watched the timezone go from EST to EDT and the time jump from 1:59 am to 3:00 am. Does anyone see a problem with this?
