Is there a way to pick and choose the packages within the 4 RHEL ISOs so that I can build a system with the minimal set of packages? I would like to create a special RHEL distro that will fit on a single CD? If this is possible, how do I do this?

Visit: http://www.instalinux.com/

You will need the installation media available if you do not want to use the Internet.

Hint: CentOS == RHEL AS/ES plus client.

Also the first CD (RHEL5) can be used by itself, install using 'linux text' as the installation choice(reduces the memory requirement) and un-select everything doing a 'Custom package' installation.

How do we run this bash file?
i tried #bash filenme.sh
it says..
The 'source' can be either a directory containing a single
set of isos, or an exploded tree like an ftp site...

Help ..

Please read the script file(any text editor), it pretty much explains itself fairly well.
Hint: try running it from the same location as the files (the iso files for example).
