Question auth command not found.

I'm trying to use the auth command.
After I upgraded to 6.4 it's not found.
What am I missing... ?
Account is also not found.

auth required pam_userdb.so db=/etc/data/users
account required pam_userdb.so db=/etc/data/users

Could you tell us a bit more about your problem and what it is you are trying to do?

If I look for pam_userdb.so on a RHEL 6.4 box I find it in:
Code:
/lib64/security/pam_userdb.so

In your first post you mention upgrading to 6.4 and in your last you show a vsftpd installation manual. Which of the 2 is giving you problems?

Did you install vsftpd successfully, do an OS upgrade and now it doesn't work? Are you having problems with the installation of vsftpd?

Step 2 from the link you posted mentions installing and setting up db4-utils. Did you do/check this?

Please elaborate on your problem.

Yes everything is working fine, except I cant run the auth command like I said in my first post.
The issue is not with vsftpd, that works fine, I used to be able to run auth but can't now.

Nevermind I just created the pam file manually without using the auth and account commands.
