What command do I use to get Window info?


Hi,

Im programming in xlib and I used to use a command in a terminal to get info about a window(For debuging). I have forgotten the command. Does anyone know?

Is there also a command for a window list?

Thanks for any help.

Are you looking for xwininfo?

xwininfo -root -children

gets a complet list


this is what i need since i have problem filtering out the visible topwindows.
