Question VIsual Basic for Linux

Does anybody know if there is any software to create Visual Basic programs for Linux? I know there are better programming languages, but I know VB very well and would prefer to prolong a steep learning curve to C++.

Otherwise, is there are any program that will convert VB to C++/Java. I know there is one called vb2py to convert to Python, but I would rather start learning C++ or similar than Python if I really have to.

I don't know if there's any programs that convert VB to C++ or Java, but my advice would be to learn C and/or C++ to program in linux, you'll be glad you did.
