Soliciting book suggestions for learning HTML

I'm an old Cobol programmer who is interested in learning HTML. I am wondering if anyone could suggest a good beginners book on the topic.

Kind Regards

Chris

Here http://www.selfhtml.org/ is a very good tutorial -- in German (and French). Since you did not fill in your profile I could not guess your language...

HTML is just a markup language. You just have to learn a set of tags and how to use them. So nothing complicated.

As you probably are a native english speaker I cant give you book recommendations on this topic.

I liked "More Excellent HTML with an Introduction to JavaScript" when I was learning HTML, once I understood the basics I switched to a simple html reference book.
