SDL question


I want to create a window like that of the windows media player.
I m using SDL package but I dont know how can I do that.
Is there any other way ,in C programming,by which I can create that window?

what does "like that" mean?? what aspects of it are you talking about? skinning? SDL can do plenty of funky stuff, all in covered in places liek this. http://www.libsdl.org/tutorials.php

You can look at the source of a package that does what you want - Totem-Xine. It will play any media that xine can play (almost anything), and presents it with a totem (WMP-like) user interface.

If u open the Windows Media PLayer then try to run any movie.
Take a look now on the Windows Media Player
now U can close ,minimize and maximize the window of the Windows Media Player.
Did u get what I mean exactly?
I want just to create that window that surrounds the running movie.How can I do that using SDL Package?
I managed to run a movie but without that surrounding window.
That is my problem Clearly.

Like I said, take a look at the screenshots of totem-xine. It does what you want.
