php . apache


I cannot run php scripts in apache web server. The php module can be seen in the modules list but when I run a php code I just see the code in the browser. (mandrake 10.0) what should I do ???

Did you actually configure apache to handle these types of files? What does your httpd.conf look like? Does it include the config's for php type pages and loads the module upon startup?

Yea is the php module uncommented in the httpd.conf file. My php isnt working either but it does display the code it in, just is blank, but I think thats cuase I uncommented the PHP module line near the bottom of my httpd.conf file.

You need an AddType Application directive for .php files so that Apache knows to use the PHP module to process them.
