mqueue.h + no such file or directory

I am including

#include <mqueue.h>

in my application and when I compile it throws an error saying No such file or directory
Well,
when I did

whereis mqueue.h

it tells its present in /usr/include/mqueue.h
I have also included many other header files which are not showing any error
anything which I have missed out pertaining to this?

Are you using custom makefiles? If so, maybe you have set it not to search default include directories and/or changed the include dirs? Try to run 'make -n'. It will show you the commands without executing them. Check how the compilation command for the file that gives you problems differ from the other ones.

BTW Are you sure you don't have a spelling mistake?
