What is /var/spool/mqueue??
What is the purpose ot the /var/spool/mqueue directory? It is taking up 82MB on my RH 8.0 syste, and seems to be completely full of nothing but text crap. What is this directory? Thanks!

Ok thanks, but is the size of it unusual? Can I delete all the contents of the directory, but leave the directory itself? Thanks!

it's full of mail that is waiting to be sent.... possibly from cron jobs or such like. you should try sending it, and checking your mail server log files to see who it is from and such
