LiveFX realtime audio processor for linux
I'm looking for people interested in developing a plugin-driven realtime audio processor for linux (mostly programmers, sound engineers, translators). It should have the following features:
* Real-time, very low-latency sound handling
* Support LADSPA plugins (and automatically create GUIs for them)
* Support every kind of input/output rate the user's sound card can handle
* Support input/output from as many control devices as possible (I mean from MIDI pedals to everything that's input... also a webcam)
* Implement complex GUI and control plugins (ex. virtual loop station)
* Be nice, user-friendly and maybe good-looking. (also let the user set as many parameters as possible if he wants to).
* In the future: manage natively non-mono/stereo input/output
I'm currently thinking about a GNOME (GTK+) based interface, ALSA sound interface, LADSPA plugin support (as I said before) and a new type of GUI/control plugin to develop.
Since I have no experience in team programming (expecially over the net), experienced programmers are welcome.
Suggestions and thoughts are appreciated too.
P.S.: Sorry for my bad english
