linux server socket:client IE or firefox


I've written a server program which gives respont to konqueror but not IE , firefox or even telnet(command) in windows. I think something about socket options should be different. I'de be glad if anyone can help.

How about a little more information? :}

Like, what language you've used, how you open which socket, and what
you'd expect to see?

make socket command: handle = socket(PF_INET,SOCK_STREAM , 0 ) ;

So, you say no respond in IE?
Strange.
On what port is listening your server? 80?
May be the communicating style is diferent. Do you handle the IE client?
Can you catch a client socket from IE?
