linux server socket:client IE or firefox
I've written a server program which gives respont to konqueror but not IE , firefox or even telnet(command) in windows. I think something about socket options should be different. I'de be glad if anyone can help.
How about a little more information? :}
Like, what language you've used, how you open which socket, and what
you'd expect to see?
make socket command: handle = socket(PF_INET,SOCK_STREAM , 0 ) ;
So, you say no respond in IE?
On what port is listening your server? 80?
May be the communicating style is diferent. Do you handle the IE client?
Can you catch a client socket from IE?
