Help w/ doxygen and php functions

OK, so I'm having a problem w/ Doxygen and PHP. For some reason it doesn't want to show my global functions, only class members. So if I have just a function, ex.

Code:
/*! Brief
 *  Long
 *
 *  @param a asdf
 *  @return Blah
 */
function hello($a) {
 return $a;
}
This does not get put into the documentation. If I define a group and add it to the group w/ @ingroup, it will show up in the group, but I don't want to add all my global functions to a group.... Does anyone know why it isn't showing up? (it doesn't work even if I use @fn as well)
