If you mean, at the client end of a connection, then Mozillian type browsers provide this information with a right click (View Page Info) on the window of interest. As far as I know, there is no logging of download statistics on the client end, beyond the likes of history files. On the server end, Apache servers are typically configured to log every fetch, which shows up as a separate entry for every page, and every inline image. If you run through a firewall, it may be able to produce the kind of information you are talking about.

By "Which browser is the currently used" do you mean the default for the system? or just know who and what browsers are beein' used at the moment.

If its the prior, it depends on the desktop system if any
