I gues that library doesn't work because it says GameEngine.h:2:22: GL/glaux.h: No such file or directory .

glaux is an MS library and is pretty much outdated. I would suggest finding another library to load your textures, or looking at the file format spec and writing your own. (I usually do the latter with TGAs, so I can't recommend any libraries offhand.)
