Finding all Sub-domains of a domain

I tried asking this in my regular PHP forum but no luck.
Since this is more of a Linux question (but need it implemented in PHP) I thought you guys here would be know a solution to this.
Im pretty sure that it can be done because this site seem to do exactly that - except it restricts to a limited number.

Im trying to find all the sub-domains of a domain - more specifically - citysearch.com. Citysearch has all there cities' links in subdomains - cityname.citysearch.com. I want to know all their citynames (subdomains).

I tried
<?php
echo exec('host -l citysearch.com');
?>
but the output is blank.

Any method to get this to work ?

Thanks

Code:
$ hostx -l citysearch.com
209.104.63.252 (a.ns.tmcs.net) read answer length: Connection reset by peer
citysearch.com AXFR record not found, try again
No Nameservers for citysearch.com responded

I dont understand ? Is it not allowing ? but in that case how did the other site (link posted first) find it ?

Example - for chicago, the link is : http://chicago.citysearch.com
I need to know all such links for which I need to know all sub-domain names.

Im using Windows - anyway I can connect to my server (RedHat) remotely and execute that function call ?

Thanks
