I have one ip, I have setup 3 virtual domains in the vhosts.d directory.

No matter which domaiin I type in I get thriftyserve.com For example I type in www.myppcsoftware.com and I get thriftyserves domain on my screen.

messing with virtual domains can be tricky initially. It sounds like there is something missing in you apache file. When it can't find a virtual domain, it defaults to the first one. Maybe take a look at it again and make sure you have everything set up correctly. There should be a lot of examples online and here too
