Does the file still exist?

There is a file named "a.txt".
And I did the following operations twice in my program:

link("a.txt", "a.link");

Then type "ls a.txt -all" shows st_nlink=3.

Do following steps in bash:

unlink a.txt
unlink a.link

Does the file still exist? If YES, then how can I access it?

Merci.

Moin,

are you talking about a perl program? On my system it's not possible to create a link twice. I can call the link command twice, but the second call produces an error (to show with "print $!;").
