connect two databases using postgres?

hello,

i have two different databases and both of the databases having the different kind of tables. now i have a problem, i need to join two tables which each of them is within the different databases.

does anyone know how to inner join two tables which connect two different databases using postgres?

any help will be appreciated, thks.

you might be in the wrong forum, unless your trying to make a program that does this.
