compiling and running my java programs, I get: Invalid MIT-MAGIC-COOKIE-1 key before it runs

Getting this error every time I run my java program from command line: Invalid MIT-MAGIC-COOKIE-1 key

This has to do with displays and xservers of which I am totally in the dark. Can someone enlighten me on the subject or point me in the direction to research this?

I'm guessing your display is not set right. You can run:
xhost +local:

then run you program and if that works run this:
echo 'xhost +local:' >> ~/.bash_profile
