Certification in Unix/Linux

Hi,

I am new to this forum and new to the Unix/Linux community. I have worked in Linux in past , but that was few years back. I want to increase my knowledge in Unix and for that I want to give some certification, which would cover shell scripting , unix commands etc..
Purpose of giving certification is that as Unix itself is wide, it will help me do some focussed study, learn and apply that knowledge.

You can say I am a novice in Unix/Linux field.
Please suggest some certification which would help achieve me the same.

If I have posted this in an incorrect forum, please forward me to the correct forum.

Looking forward for your valuable suggestions.

Thanks,
Shikha

Please do not post the same thread in more than one forum. Picking the most relevant forum and posting it once there makes it easier for other members to help you and keeps the discussion all in one place.
