hi
i have installed opensuse 10.2 vtk packages and i am trying to compile
example tutorial code of vtk written in c++. do i just have to run g++ on source.cpp (maybe with some additional options)??

this is stupid question, but on web i can find only pages about building vtk itself.

Just go into the directory where you are trying to compile your program and type ls -l enter and post that here. Is there a file in that directory named "makefile"?
