I'd say it is/was programming related, but it is unclear what heck OP tried to achieve by asking questions (some of them look like borderline trolling).
Certain posts deal with shared libraries, multithreading, etc, which are programming concepts, so I think the thread (entire thread) isn't suitable for "General", and will look out of place of merged with "linux vs windows" thread.

It would make sense to split thread in two or close it, though.
