Samba Domain Member

I've got a Samba PDC+ldap serving windows clients, which works great. Got roaming profiles and interegrates nicely with Linux homes. I've so have a Mac OS X box using ldap+nfs so its also part of our network. But there is one snag.

I have two boxes that have to run Windows NT and do not want them exposed to the interenet, luckly I have a Mac server running as a gateway between them and the net. I would like to make them part of our doamin, so I had the idea of running the Mac gateway as a Samba domain member. Though figuring this out has been a pain.

If I must, I can install a clean non-os x samba, but would rather use what they have, because the gui is so nice. Also, if it can work, I can open the samba ports on the Mac gateway, though I'm not sure if they would find the Samba Domain.

Any ideas?
